Hstar pursues ground-breaking robotics research and development, supported by grants from the U.S. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. SBIR awards are highly prestigious, awarded through a competitive process and after extensive review by scientific experts. Hstar's success in attracting initial concept grants, five of which have extended through Phase II support, demonstrates the esteem with which it is regarded in the healthcare robotics research community.
